John V. Massingale has been involved in the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and related U.S. and international chemical control matters for nearly 20 years. From 1991 through 1997, he was responsible for the corporate environmental, health, and safety affairs at the U.S. chemical company, Mitsubishi Rayon America.

After Mitsubishi Rayon America, he joined the environmental consulting firm, McLaren/Hart, where he worked for two years as a Senior Environmental Scientist. His practice areas at McLaren/Hart included TSCA, OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, toxicology, product stewardship, international chemical control requirements, classification & labeling, environmental auditing, and environmental management systems.

In 1999, Mr. Massingale established Greenwich Chemical Consulting in Greenwich, Connecticut. In 2007, Greenwich Chemical Consulting moved its offices to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Mr. Massingale holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of California at Riverside. He occasionally lectures on TSCA and international chemical control matters.
